My Summer Reading List

My bloggy bff Molly is having a super fun linky
going on to kick off summer!
It's all about out summer reading lists!
Reading has become pretty pitiful
since the dawn of my children.
But, I try to eek in a book or two each summer!
To start here are some books I suggest for you.
As you may notice, I am not a very adventurous reader.
I generally go for what's popular and read that.
Here are some books I've read
in the past 5 years or so that I really connected with.
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Fantastic! Her characters just came to life for me.
And in a rare occurrence the movie is equally as good!
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
I read this on the way to Vegas last year.
I cried through the WHOLE thing.
How embarrassing, but that's how I roll.
I love to cry at movies and tv!
This was great!
Has me pumped to work on building wealth.

The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand
I love all of Elin's books!
The Blue Bistro is by far my favorite though!
Careful though- it will make you soooo hungry!
I have my mom's copy! Can't wait to dive in!
Carry On, Warrior by Glennon Melton
I'm not totally sure what this is about, but it looks good.
Revenge Wears Prada by Laure Weisberger
The Devil Wears Prada was so ice cold amazing!
This has to be good!
Matilda by Roald Dahl
I'd like to read this treasure to my son.
He read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
in class at the end of the year and loved it!
The Rumor: A Novel by Elin Hilderbrand
Elin is practically a summer tradition of mine now!

Having 3 very busy kids,
a full time teaching job and doing this blog/tpt thing
I don't have a lot of time for reading.
But, I love stories!
What's a girl to do?
I have a really nifty solution!
It's called Audible.

Audible allows me to listen to books off my phone.
My ride to work is just long enough at 22 minutes.
It's the perfect amount of time to get sucked into the story
and not want to walk into school!
I have an Audible membership.
For $14.95 a month I get a new book each month!
I pick my book online and then download it on my app.
I can also wish list books
and they give me suggestions for books I may like too!
Plus they always have nifty deals and steals
for extra books or credits all the time.
Want to give it a go?

Happy Reading Everyone!
