Oh The Thinks You Can Think!

This is totally my most favorite week of the school year!
I love all things Seuss.
He was so mega talented that is just blows my mind.
From Horton to Yertle to the Cat we've been having loads of fun!
Of course what would a little week in review be without
linking up with the wonderful Doodlebugs.

We created these adorable cats in hats this week!
Here's a little how to.
One paper plate
*Paint the outer ring black.*
6 1/2 inch x 5 inch black strips
*We wrote words that rhyme with "cat" on the black strips.*
5 (or 6) 1 inch x 6 inch red stripes
*We wrote Dr. Seuus book titles on the red stripes .*
One hat cut out per child.
With older students they could probably be walked
through using a ruler to make the hat shape.
My lovely assistant did all mine for me.
I love her!
One red bow per child.
I made these really quick on scrap paper and
ran of onto red construction.
I think I recycled my pattern.
But you can do it east peasy!
Cut, glue and display your cats in hats!

We had a lot of fun with a wonderful new packet
