Keeping Current!

Howdy!
One of my students came in with that as a
new greeting for our class this week. Cute!

I'm happy to be linking up with the newly designed
Farley this month for another episode of Currently.
Seriously people March already?
I am doing my happy dance!
These feet will be in the sand in 3 months!!
Hard to believe since I am wearing no less
than 3 layers at all times these days.
{Listening}
My husband goes through guitar phases.
Tonight he happened past a Led Zepplin concert on tv.
And just like that he is now "in" a guitar phase.
The process is hilarious to watch!
{Loving}
March has a pretty bad rap among the months.
It doesn't have any days off from school...
at least in my neck of the woods.
Here in New England it is still pretty chilly.
But happily our little social calendar is filling up.
My oldest turns 6! Who in the what now did that happen?
We have some fun fundraiser events.
Probably a trip into Beantown to catch up with friends!
This drab long month is looking up!
Oh...and of course St. Patrick's Day!
With a name like Deirdre and a face full of freckles that
holiday is my time to shine!
{Thinking}
Reports Cards...insert pit in stomach.
Although my trusty new pal
"Common Core Quickies"
is going to be clutch in assessing my class.
Check it out here.

You can read more about it here
{Wanting}
A trip to Target!
If you haven't hear me complain about it
here 245, 786 times let me just get you
up to speed.
Target is an hour away!
But, it is Dr. Seuss week and people keep posting cute
stuff on instagram from Target.
Whats a girl to do?!?
{Needing}
Spring to start yesterday...
'nuff said!
{????}
If you can figure out my little list up there
let me know in the comments what you think!

Since I am perpetually short on time
it's another double link up kinda day.
I'm linking up with Blog Hoppin'
to share all the awesomeness I got in the big sale!
I hope you are sitting.
I went a little overboard!
 There are some amazing clip artists on Teachers Pay Teachers!
Their hard work is so appreciated!
Some of my favorites who I am keeping in business are
I am in love with these resources that
I had to have!
I can not wait to use this to zazz
up my Work on Writing.
These packets are the best.
Annie has covered EVERYTHING!
I'll be getting these up and running in
our reading groups this week.
I love how it's just the right amount of text
for guided reading time!
My kiddos are going to love this!
It looks like tons of fun!

  1. I love Target! Like, an unhealthy relationship! :) Have you looked for some of Dr. Seuss' books online? I found some YouTube videos of them being read out loud. Of course, going to Target is always more fun! :)

  2. That's a bummer that you have zero days off in March! We have a week of spring break to look forward to and a day and a half off after conferences! I am SOO ready for spring too! As for your list...gosh! I'm not really sure but I'm going to guess your pet names??

  4. I love Educlips, Krista Walden and Ashley Hughes!! :) They are three of my favorites!! I love Target too, and I am so thankful that ours is not an hour away! I also love the Dollar Tree, and am so thankful that ours are next door to each other. I agree with Teaching in the Tongass, are those your nicknames?
