Happy Blogging Birthday to Me!

Celebrate Good Times C'mon Let's Celebrate!
You know you are singing along with me!

It is good ole' Dr. Seuss' birthday this week and
I am so happy to share this week is my blog's birthday too!
I can't believe a year ago I had 0 followers.
Now I have over 600! Whoop! Whoop!
I am so very appreciative of you all who check back in
here week after week.
I would love to blog more for all you faithful followers,
but life is crazy. If I could do without those 8 hours of
sleep my body insists on each night I'd be blogging up a storm!
What's a birthday celebration without a few goodies?
I am happy to be giving away your choice of a product
from my shop along with a mystery box of goodies
shipped to your door!!
You'll just have to wait and see what will be inside.
It'll be awesome....I PROMISE!
I am giving away this prize on Facebook and Instagram too!
Be sure to head there too for more
chances to win.

I have grown so much this year.
And I have learned A LOT about this
crazy, fun, mind-blowing world of blogging,
The process of creating materials for my classroom
has made me grow more than any other
professional development, class or workshop I've taken.
Each product is like bring a new baby into the world.
You spend a lot of time organizing, creating and preparing
to then set it free into the educational world.
It still floors me that teachers are using my materials
in their classrooms. "Wow" is all I can say!
Here's are a few babies I'm extra proud of
putting together in the last year.
Click on each cover to check out more!

Once again THANK YOU for
following me in the past year!
Here's to many more good times in the future.
Stick around for more freebies and good stuff to come!

  9. I forgot to add that my best birthday is a tie...When I turned 13 on Friday the 13th, I had a horror movie marathon with my friends and thought that it was the coolest thing ever!!! When I turned 30, I treated myself to a 6-week vacation to Australia...it was my dream trip, which I had saved up for 10 years to go on <3. leafsgirl@rogers.com.

  11. My best birthday was definitely this past one. My hubby threw me a simple surprise party. It was perfect. I think he tried to make it extra special knowing that he'll be deployed during my 30th next year.

  19. Happy birthday! On my 16th bday, my best friends gave me a house made out of a refrigerator box complete with furniture - chair, table, lamp, picture frams, corkboard. It was all painted and personalized. So cute! I still have the furniture to this day.

  25. My best birthday is any birthday I have a snow day, which is quite often! Makes up for my birthday not being in the summer

  26. My best birthday was when I was a teenager, I always had a slumber party, like 10+ girls running around. One year we had a space heater out and my mom gave us a talk about watching our pillows near the space heater before she went to bed. It was not even 5 minutes later she was out of bed yelling at us because she smelled something burning. It was a pillow on top of the space heater!!! My birthdays are always ruined by snow or some crazy weather. My birthday was this past Monday and we had a snow day. I was sad because it was hat day at school and I was going to wear a TIARA as my hat!!!! :(

  27. Congrats girl! I am so happy to have found you.
My favorite birthday was when I was 10 because that was the year my little brother was born. I waited to years to be someone's sister :) Celebrating with my baby brother made it the best bday ever.

  34. I love birthdays......in fact, I try and celebrate mine for atleast a week! But this year was pretty memorable...I had just gotten engaged to the most wonderful guy and he tried (and succeeded) at making Red Velvet Cupcakes (my favorite) and gave me a gift card for a day at the spa and a gift card to the new H&M that had just opened! He knows the way to my heart! Happy birthday to you! jkroske@gmail.com

  35. My 40th was my most memorable. I have a June birthday, so I never got to celebrate at school as a child. During summer school, my teaching buddies surprised me with a party at school! I finally got to have my "school birthday"!

  37. My best birthday was when I turned 8. My family took me to Chi-Chi's (a Mexican restaurant). I had to wear a giant sombrero, stand on a chair and say "Cha Cha cha" during the birthday song. I was so embarrassed but it was so fun.

  41. One favorite birthday moment was when I was in college and working as a camp counselor. The entire camp (several hundred kids and staff) sang, "Happy Birthday" to me. It was kind of overwhelming to have that much love and attention focused solely on me... such a simple act, really, but it made me feel so special.

  44. My best and worst birthday are the same. Last year on my birthday I asked my husband to go to the doctor. He hadn't been feeling well and that us all I wanted. That visit led us to the discovery that he had colon cancer. Now 7 months later, we have been through emergency surgery and chemo. Things are looking good and we are thankful for the wonderful doctors and nurses. bartramsbuccaneers@yahoo.com

  45. Happy blog birthday! I LOVE birthdays so they are all special, but one of the best was my 40th when my husband-to-be had a surprise party for me. He's such a great husband for a teacher - my first valentine's gift from him was rubber gloves because I complained about mixing powdered tempera (back in the dark ages) and staining my hands.... 48. Happy Blooging Birthday!

I love birthdays! My mom always made a big deal out of birthdays! Every year my mom would retell the story of the day I was born. She would call me on the phone several times a day and say things like "I'm walking the dog now," or "I'm attempting to shave my legs now," or "I'm on my way to the hospital now!" Then she would always call me on the exact moment of my birth. It was a great tradition at our house!
