Currently November

November...nice to see you!
I'm saying that a bit sarcastically.
I love November and December,
but as my friend says you are entering the tunnel of darkness
for a long cold winter ahead.
Us New Englanders love to complain about the winter.
You may here me whine once or 200 times about the weather this winter.
I was not made for this climate!
Someday I'll fly south!

Anyhoo...Linking up with Farley for  November's Currently

My children are acting crazy!
And in the midst of this post two out of three
are now in timeout.
Ahhh..the joys of parenthood!

I love that we made it through Halloween.
Congratulations Everyone!

I'm thinking it would be amazing to
actually sleep in on a Saturday.
And by sleep in I mean I would be
psyched to not wake up until 7:30!
6:00 is just too early!

I am wanting Rosie from the Jetsons to come
and just zip through my house!
If she could cook too that'd be great.
I can't complain too much though-
my mom watches my kids three days a week
and she's as close as one can get to Rosie.

I need for the weeks to be 2 days
and the weekends to be 5!
Wouldn't that be amazing?
I'd be so accomplished and prepared for the 2 days I had to work!
Who can I talk to make this happen?
Who else feels the weekend is gone before it even starts?

One of my favorite yummy pins is this
It's by Stephanie O'Dea
who a few years ago took on the task of
cooking in her crockpot 365 days!
I've made this several times and it is delicious!
Kids like it too...Bonus!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Don't forget Math Monday is just 48 hours away.
I hope you'll think about linking up with
anything and everything math!

  2. Ohh I will definitely complain about our New England weather at least 200 times! It drives my husband crazy. I'm pretty good up till Christmas, but then it's all downhill from there. Happy November!

  4. You will fly WEST, not South! It makes me giggle each time I hear you complain about the weather because I would be the exact same way. I guess we're just destined to live apart, my friend. I hope the naughtiness has come to a halt for the day! Can you please send your mom to my house for the other four days? Thanks!

  5. It would be so cool if IRobot really created a "Rosie"! We probably couldn't afford it on a teacher's salary! LOL Have a great weekend.

  7. I would love that switcheroo!! I agree on the Saturday sleeping in. I got up at the normal time without my alarm. What a disappointment! When you are done with Rosie send her my way. :)

  8. Rosie would be so awesome! With all our technological capabilities you would think we'd have that by now! :) I don't get to sleep in either-but mine is a canine alarm.

  9. I was hoping that my dishes and vacumming would do themselves. Rosie is another great option :)!

  11. Amen to the surviving Halloween thing! My team wanted to get tshirts that say, "We survived Halloween at school". My principal LOVES Halloween, so we tread lightly around the whole topic.
