A Day Late and A Buck Short

I am here...better late than never!
It's only October 5...there's still time for my Currently, right?

Listening & Loving
Sitting here with my feet up listening to some
 lovely Simon and Garfunkel tunes
at my friends' house up in New Hampshire.
We are on our annual apple picking/ leaf peeping adventure.
This is our 6th year getting together with the same friends.
The first year my oldest was 9 months.
6 years later there are 5 kids total!
My friends have the cutest almost 2 year old twins.

Deep in the back of my mind is a hundred mile long list
lesson plans, evaluation goals,
unit design, scheduling,
November Math Workshop & more.

I would love for this perfect warm day/cool night
fall weather to last FOREVER!
I downright loathe winter and can feel
its impending doom looming in the distance.

I truly need more hours in the day.
It really hard to get it all done.
Can I get an Amen on that?

Trick or Treat
Smell my feet...hehehe
I actually don't super love Halloween, but
it is more fun now with little kids.
I love the candy though!
I try not to buy it too soon because
we eat it all!

I know this is a super short post!
I'll be back within the week to share
some fun class stuff with you!
Have a great week!

  1. Not a huge fan of Halloween myself. I really hate to dress up (usually my costumes for "night" NEVER work for "day" Ha!) I would like you to add a few more hours to my day as well! xo

  2. Just blogging around this morning and came across your page. You've done a great job. So glad to see you here. So many deserted blogs anymore. Thanks for letting me visit.

  3. Hi! I found you through Farley's page. Your fall adventure sounds wonderful! I'm originally from Mass., and I really miss the fall! Seasons here in FL are so dull! Enjoy the fall colors!
